These Fragrance lamps are used to take unwanted odors out of the air and also help to disinfect or clean the air. This occurs because the lamps use catalytic energy via the special burner stone. This stone enables air to be circulated above and below while burned (or heated). This is the same similar process of the catalytic converter in your car muffler.
While air flowing is above and below, the wick pulls the fragrance out of the container and dispenses it into the air. In several minutes, a whole room or house can be eliminated of odors, smoke, allergens, bacteria and filled with a pleasant scent of your choice.
Each lamp is mouth blown and created one at a time. When mouth blown glass is created each piece is unique and no two will be the same. This is a characteristic of blown glass. The glass may also contain bubbles. These bubbles are also characteristics of mouth blown glass.
Each lamp comes with a wick and burner stone assembly. La-Tee-Da! stone maximizes the lamp's fragrance performance. The wick draws our specially fromulated fragrances up through the sonte and disperses heavenly aromas throughout your home.

Questions about Fragrance Lamps
How does my lamp work? Your lamp uses catalytic conversion. The stone is heated to a high temperature and it pulls the air into the vessel and forces the fragrance up and out into the air. 
Why does the fragrance disappear when I am not using my lamp? You will need to be sure to replace the closed metal cap when you have fragranced your room. The fragrance is made with isopropyl alcohol and will evaporate if left open.
How much fragrance will my lamp use? Your lamp will utilize approximately one ounce per hour. You will need to be sure the closed metal cap is replaced over the burner any time it is not in use – this will help prevent evaporation. La-Tee-Da "Dilute Fragrance" is a neutrailizer that will soften the fragrance.
Why does my stone not stay hot and disperse fragrance after I blow the flame out? Your stone has become clogged. Light the burner and let it burn for 4-5 minutes to clear out any of the oil residue. Your burner will become hot and should work properly now. Be sure you do not leave effusion fragrance in the lamp when not in use for more than 24 hours.
I filled my lamp with effusion fragrance and inserted the wick and my stone won’t light – why? You need to wait 20 – 30 minutes for the fragrance to absorb into the wick and up to the burner. The waiting time is necessary to allow the stone to be soaked with fragrance. Be sure to replace the closed metal cap while you are waiting.
I filled my lamp full of effusion fragrance and it won’t work – why? The lamp should be no more than 2/3 full of effusion fragrance – the air space is necessary to allow proper fragrance disbursement. The air space allow oxygen to allow the stone to keep on burning, even though the actuall flame is not present.
